My interpretation of what some pessimists claim is reality

This morning at 7:05 AM¹ Calvin (who has the ability to suck the life out of us) entered our life - and I am not talking about Sch:TNG III - yet :-). Instead we got a new a La-Z-boy recliner, replacing a 5 year old model that has been worn down by too many cats in this house. With the departure of two thirds of the cat population it made sense to replace it. Lisa has dibs on it, being like 12 months pregnant and all, but eventually I might be able to sink into its plush, yet lumbar supporting embrace.

¹Yes, they delivered at 7:00 AM on Memorial Day. Can't blame them since I asked for it :-)
